About the project
An original logo design for the Relax restaurant in Kazan, the capital of Tatarstan. The design combines Tatar culture with the restaurant’s concept to create a unique visual identity.
Design concept
Key elements:
- A bridge silhouette inspired by Istanbul’s Bosphorus Bridge
- A symbol of Tatar culture – crescent and star
- Tulip motif – Tatar ornamentation
- “RELAX” lettering – classic serif typography
Visual metaphor:
- Bridge – the meeting of Eastern and Western cultures
- Tulip – Tatar culture and elegance
- Crescent and star – national symbolism
- Gold and brown tones – a warm, cosy atmosphere
Color palette:
- Maroon – main background, refinement and comfort
- Gold – luxury and quality
- Beige – a warm, inviting tone
- Red accent – energy in the crescent-and-star element
